שִׁיפּוּעַ, שִׁפּ׳,m. (שָׁפַע 1) slanting, slope, skirt. Gen. R. s. 69 (ref. to Gen. 28:12) הסולם הזה … ושִׁיפּוּעֹווכ׳ that ladder stood on the Temple site, and its slant reached ; Yalk. ib. 120.
